Ensuring the successful delivery of the Bokhtar Water Project by providing comprehensive project implementation support and contract supervision. The Consultant's responsibilities include managing and coordinating all phases of the project, from initial planning and procurement to construction supervision and final delivery. Specifically, the Consultant assists the client (the Bokhtar Water and Wastewater services) in developing procurement strategies, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and administering contracts in line with EBRD requirements. They also supervise the quality and progress of construction and equipment supply, ensure compliance with technical, environmental, and social standards, and provide capacity building and training to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and city representatives. Additionally, the Consultant supports the introduction of modern systems such as automated billing, oversees environmental and social safeguards, and ensures that all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Through these activities, the consultant acts as both a technical advisor and a project manager, transferring knowledge and best practices to local stakeholders to ensure the project's long-term sustainability.
